Ingredients
- 2 pieces of turkey breast fillet
- 250 gr. / 9 oz / 0.5 pound spinach
- 200 gr / 8 oz / 0.4 pound cream
- 2 pieces of onions
- 1 piece of fresh red pepper
- Broth
- Flour
- Salt, red pepper, black pepper
- Potatoes
Directions
Lay the turkey fillet as a thin layer. Add the spices and lay a thin layer of olive oil. Soak the spinach into boiling water, wait for a few minutes and strain them. Lay the spinach as a layer over the fillet. Make them rolls by wrapping. Stick them with toothpicks or bind them. Melt the butter in a pan and fry both sides. Lay them into a glass pot and put it into oven.
I tried this recipe with chicken too and it was delicious. Chicken cooked easier due to the softer meat. If you would like, you can also add another vegetable different from spinach. For instance chard …
By the way for the sauce, roast a very thin diced onion in oil, add the very thin diced red peppers on it and roast them together properly. Add some flour on it and sauté them. Add half pack of cream, salt, black pepper and red pepper. At last add the broth and boil it. Take it off the fire and blend it with blender. Put it on fire again, add a bay leaf and cook it on light fire to get denser.
Boil the potatoes and slice them as you wish. Slice the other onion in half circles and roast it in a pan. Add the potatoes and roast them. Add black pepper, salt and a bit vinegar. Cook them together until they fry loud.
Slice the turkey carefully. Lay it on to the serve plate. Lay the sauce over it and serve it with potatoes beneath.
Enjoy your meal...
