This is the most common garniture I use to serve with dishes. Especially I like it most with meat dishes and grills. I want to share 3 different alternatives with you.

1st RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 4 piece of potato
  • 2 table spoon full of butter
  • 2 table spoon full of flour
  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 200 gr/ 8 oz / 0.4 pound grated yellow cheese or mozzarella

Directions

Peel the potatoes and chop in cubes. Boil them. Strain them and lay into a heat resistant glass pot. Prepare the béchamel sauce in s different pan with oil, flour and milk. Lay it over the potatoes and put it into oven with the cheese or mozzarella.

2nd RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces of potatoes
  • 1 cup of yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pack of baking powder
  • Salt, black pepper, red pepper

Directions

Chop the potatoes in cubes. Boil them or cook them in steam.

Whip the eggs in a pot and add yoghurt, olive oil, baking powder, flour and spices in it. Add the potatoes at the end.

Oil the oven tray or heat resistant glass pot and fill it with the mixture. Cook it in pre-heated oven for 20 to 25 minutes at 200°C.

3rd RECIPE

This is the most practical the one I love most;

Ingredients

  • 5-6 pieces of potatoes
  • 1 pack of cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Salt, black pepper

Directions

Slice the potatoes in rounds. Mix it with salt and spices. Lay it into the glass pot. Lay the cream and milk over it. Cook at 180°C.

After it is cooked, you can add grated cheese or mozzarella over them and leave it in the oven for a few minutes if you would like to.

Enjoy your meal...
