Ingredients
- 4 pieces of lamb shank
- 1 piece of potato or 1 piece of celery
- 1 piece of medium size onion
- 1/2 cup of peas
- 1 piece of carrot
- 6 table spoon of olive oil or 2 table spoon full of margarine
- 2 pieces of garlic
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Flaked red pepper
- Optionally 1 table spoon full of paste
- 2 cup of water
Directions
Add the margarine or olive oil into the braiser. Roast the shank in oil. Dice the garlic and onions and roast them with meat properly. Add the paste, spices and salt. Chop all of the vegetables in medium size cubes and add them into the braiser. Roast the whole mixture for a few minutes by stirring. Add boiling water and leave it on fire for cooking. You can cook in the pressure cooker for a shorter period and vegs won’t lose their vitamins.
