Ingredients
- 1/2 kg / 17 oz / 1 pound spinach
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 table spoon full of cream
- Bread crumbs
- 2 pieces of potatoes
- 1/2 matchbox size butter
- 150 gr / 5 oz / 0.3 pound grated yellow cheese
- 1 table spoon full of olive oil
Directions
Roast the spinach in oil. Add the warm milk on it and continue roasting it. When cooked turn off the fire and add cream.
Lay bread crumbs over the spinach you have laid into heat resistant glass pot.
Boil the potatoes and crush them, add some milk and butter and obtain mash potatoes. Lay it onto the spinach in the glass pot. Add some bread crumbs again. Put it into oven for 10 minutes. Add the grated cheese just before taking it out of the oven.
