Ingredients

  • 500 gr / 17 oz/ 1 pound fatty and boneless fish
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 2 pieces of potatoes
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 bunch of parsley
  • Salt, black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Flour and bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • For decorating some spinach bunches (drilled in boiling water) or garden rocket and cress leaves

Directions

Boil the potatoes. Bake it in oven or boil the fish and onion together. Mash the fish. Mash the potatoes properly too and mix it with the mashed fish. Add the spices, salt, tiny diced parsley and 1 spoonful oil if the fish oil is not enough. Knead them. Make balls from the mixture. Drill it firstly in flour, then into whipped egg and lastly into bread crumbs and fry them.

Sauce:

Melt the butter in the pan. Turn off the fire and add lemon juice. If you have boiled the fish you can also add from that boiling water. Whip it properly. Add tiny diced parsley.

Lay the spinach onto the serving plate. Place the fish onto spinach. Serve it by laying the sauce onto or beneath the fish.
